| Tori Sutherland is not only an acredited PMC instructor, but a graduate Jeweller, Silversmith and Art Teacher. You will be instructed in how to work with PMC and Tori will guide you in the design of your jewellery if you require.
For the Silver Leaves course, you will learn how to use PMC in paste form, applying it to a real leaf, which upon firing in our kiln, miraculously turns into fine silver which can be hallmarked. A bale or fastening will then be added, depending on your preference for a brooch or pendant and your final piece polished and finished in a style of your choice.
If you wish to bring your own leaf, usually something quite small (20m - 50mm) will work well, and the more texture/detail it has, the more impressive the result.
